In search of live theater

I spent sometime recently at cripple creek with the new old time Chautauqua. We were there doing shows and workshops. (cripple creek is a resort town in Washington State.) Contrast that with my childhood. I spent a good portion of my time lying on a carpet, head propped up on a stool, watching TV, while eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. (my favorite shows were Super dog could.)

Why do I share this story of my childhood. I used to spend my time watching the tube. I would like to suggest that live action theater is a better choice for that kind of activity.
